Given the fact that the owners are city based professionals, living on the edge of daytime stress and responsibility, decided to create in the Villa a "getaway garden" in compliance with the local landscape, as determined by climate, geology, flora and fauna, architecture and land use.
Using strong building materials of natural beauty such as porto heli stones and pebbles, created a luxury flagstone structure combined in harmony with other softer materials of unique esthetics such as old barn wood.
The garden is mainly planted with bougainvilleas, roses, thujas, jasmins, hibiscus, and oleanders, whereas medlars, orange, lemon and mandarin trees, morus nigra and rubra, find themselves creating a relaxing and rather mind-healing mediterranean environment.
